What is PRP therapy? (30-second summary)
PRP therapy extracts platelets — packed with natural growth factors — from your own blood and injects them into your skin. It stimulates collagen production to improve wrinkles, fine lines, under-eye circles, sagging, and overall skin quality from within. Unlike hyaluronic-acid fillers, PRP works through your own cells, so the change is gradual and natural — no one will guess you had anything done. Ueno Clinic uses pure 100% PRP with zero additives, injected across the entire face at one flat price.

Concerns that PRP therapy addresses
- Wrinkles and fine lines (around the eyes, forehead, mouth)
- Sagging and deepening nasolabial folds
- Dark circles and crepey skin under the eyes
- Loss of firmness and elasticity
- Wanting an overall lift in skin quality
- Hesitant about hyaluronic acid or other foreign substances
- Wanting to look younger naturally — without anyone noticing
- Wanting results that last, not endless touch-ups
So that when you catch your reflection,
you still love the face looking back.
Our answer is PRP therapy — skin grown by your own blood.
Why we insist on “pure PRP”
Ueno Clinic’s PRP therapy uses only the platelets extracted from your own blood. Growth-factor drugs and other additives are never used.
Why are we so strict about this? Because we care less about a quick result than about how your skin looks ten years from now.
Some clinics add bFGF (basic fibroblast growth factor) or similar agents to boost the effect. However, it has been reported that additive-based methods may, in rare cases, cause lumps and other complications.
Because our PRP uses your blood and nothing else, those additive-related risks are avoided. The change is gradual — but genuine. Your own cells do the work, restoring your skin from within.
How PRP therapy works
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is a concentrate of the platelets in your blood. Platelets are rich in growth factors — the molecules your body uses to repair and regenerate damaged tissue.
PRP therapy applies this natural healing power to the skin. The injected growth factors activate fibroblasts, boosting production of collagen and elastin. Because regeneration unfolds gradually over 3–6 months, the change looks natural — friends may notice you look great without ever guessing why.
Key growth factors in platelets
Promotes cell proliferation, recruits fibroblasts, and stimulates new blood-vessel growth for better circulation.
Drives production of collagen and connective tissue, supporting firmness and elasticity.
Builds new blood vessels and improves circulation, delivering nutrients throughout the skin.
Support tissue repair and cell renewal, helping your skin regenerate itself.
Where we inject PRP
Rather than treating a single spot, we inject PRP across your entire face, tailored to your concerns — treating skin as a surface, not a point, for an overall improvement in quality.
No per-area charges. The whole face, one flat price. Injection sites and amounts are decided together with you during your consultation.
What to expect, and when
- Softening of wrinkles and fine lines
- Improvement in sagging and nasolabial folds
- Brighter under-eye area, less crepiness
- More firmness, elasticity, and glow
- Better skin texture overall
- Stimulated collagen production
(for travelers — after you’re home)
